Use your Visa card for a chance to win a $1000 gift card…

Visa® International has partnered with Burger King® to help benefit the Have It Your Way® Foundation and is offering Burger King customers the opportunity to earn $50,000 in rewards. Through Oct. 5, 2008, customers who use their Visa card for purchases at approximately 7,200 participating Burger King® restaurants around the U.S. are automatically entered for a chance to win a $1,000 Visa gift card. There will be a total of 50 prizes, and for each winner, Visa will also donate $1,000 to Have It Your Way® Foundation’s Burger King Scholars program.

The Burger King® Scholars program supports education by providing scholarships to commendable high school seniors in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. No purchase is necessary; the free entry method is posted on www.bk.com/visa along with complete official rules. The contest is open to all U.S. residents, 18 and older.

Not only does the Have It Your Way® Foundation support college students, but non-profit organizations that make a difference in the community at large. “The Have It Your Way® Foundation is grateful to Visa® for providing additional scholarship funds for deserving candidates,” said Ivette Diaz, director of corporate social responsibility for Burger King Corp. “Not only does this promotion help further our commitment to education, but it also provides an additional incentive for our guests who can potentially win $1,000.”
